Last Asylum – Your Guide for F2P 🌿

Let’s Go Through The Basics (Page 4)

I mainly play this game as a Free-to-Play (F2P) player, so this guide is simply one F2P player sharing what has worked for another.

If you’re a Pay-to-Play (P2P) or Pay-to-Win (P2W) player, your priorities might be a little different. You’ll probably want to dive deeper into the technical side of things, like which heroes perform best in PvP (Player vs Player) and which ones are stronger for PvE (Player vs Environment).

But if you’re trying to get the most value without spending, this guide should give you a solid place to start.

Our Heroes At A Glance For F2P Player

Hero Factions

Besides Hero Classes, every hero also belongs to a Hero Faction.

Think of factions as the hero’s background or origin. Heroes from the same faction share a common history, culture, or allegiance within the world of Last Asylum.

Factions aren’t just there for the lore—they also affect gameplay. Building a team with heroes from the same faction unlocks a powerful faction bonus, giving your squad extra HP, ATK, and DEF.

While it’s tempting to mix your strongest heroes together, understanding factions will help you build teams that are stronger as a whole. As your roster grows, you’ll naturally have more options to take advantage of these bonuses. 🌱

In Last Asylum, deploying 5 heroes from the same faction in a single squad increases HP, ATK, and DEF by 20%.

Hero Class

Before we start building our team, let’s first understand Hero Classes.

Every hero has a role to play. Some are meant to stand in front and soak up damage, while others deal damage from the back or keep the team alive with healing and buffs.

Placing the right hero in the right position can make a huge difference, even if your heroes aren’t the strongest yet. A well-positioned team will usually perform much better than a randomly assembled one.

Let’s take a look at what each Hero Class does. 🌱

What is PvP and PvE & Why You Should Know

PvP = Player vs Player ⚔️

Player vs Player (PvP) is where you’ll be competing against other real players instead of computer-controlled enemies. It’s one of the most exciting parts of Last Asylum, where your heroes, strategy, troop strength, and teamwork are all put to the test.

If you’re a Pay-to-Play (P2P) player, you’ll usually unlock more heroes and build stronger teams much faster because you have access to additional resources through purchases.

As a Free-to-Play (F2P) player, our journey is a little different. We may not get every hero we want, but that doesn’t mean we can’t compete. The key is making the best use of the heroes the game gives us, investing our resources wisely, and building teams around our strengths rather than chasing every new hero.

Remember, strategy often beats spending. A well-built F2P account with good planning can still perform exceptionally well and earn plenty of rewards. 🌱

PvE = Player vs Environment 👾

PvE (Player vs Environment) means fighting computer-controlled enemies instead of other players to earn rewards and strengthen your account.
