It feels like just yesterday when heading to the guardian after work felt like a treat. Browsing the aisles, deciding what hair color to try next, or testing out makeup at the beauty corners – it was my little escape after a hectic day in the office.

Fast forward to today, and I found myself celebrating the grand reopening of guardian’s Bukit Damansara store. The sunny weather perfectly matched the cheerful vibes of the event – and how fitting that guardian’s new color is a bright and happy orange!  It’s fresh, vibrant, and makes you want to walk in and explore.  

Some of us showed up early to take a good look around before the crowd came in, and it was worth it. I mean, you can’t step into guardian and leave empty-handed, it’s almost impossible! There’s always something calling your name, whether it’s skincare, makeup, or even a snack.  

A New Look, A New Purpose

guardian’s Managing Director, Priscilla Wu, shared how this updated Bukit Damansara store represents their commitment to strengthening connections with the local community while enhancing the overall shopping experience.

Do you know that this is the only two-story guardian store in Malaysia. This isn’t your typical pharmacy corner, they’ve added a community space upstairs where events like health talks, wellness workshops, product trials, and launches will happen.

It’s a nice touch that makes the store feel more personal. It’s all part of guardian’s goal to empower customers to live healthier, more confident lives under their new vision, “Unleash Your Persona”.

The space will also host guardian’s House of Creators, a platform for Malaysian content creators to stay on top of the latest trends, improve their skills, and create impactful content in health and beauty. This initiative aims to build a vibrant ecosystem for creators while inspiring the next generation of influencers in the industry.

Aside from the community area, the store boasts a fresh layout and expanded offerings to make health and beauty shopping easier and more enjoyable:  

Salon at Home: Get salon-level hair care products for professional results at home.  

Men’s Zone: A dedicated section for men’s grooming and self-care essentials.  

Clean Beauty: A range of natural and eco-friendly products for those embracing sustainable living. Guardian is one of the first high-street stores to offer this category.
