Girls date at Sakura Cardcaptor Exhibition at Fahrenheit88!

Okay listen—if you were (or still are) obsessed with Cardcaptor Sakura like I was, ready with your wand in hand! This exhibition is gonna teleport you straight back to your childhood faster than Kero-chan can say “hoé!”

From 12 April to 11 June, Fahrenheit88 in Bukit Bintang has basically turned into Sakura Kinomoto’s secret lair. The exhibition is hosted by INCUBASE Arena Malaysia, and it’s officially the first Southeast Asian debut of this magical event.

The space is entirely transformed to immerse fans in the nostalgic world of Cardcaptor Sakura. It felt like I walked into an episode and forgot I’m a grown-up with bills to pay.

The entire setup is a beautiful blend of interactive displays, life-sized replicas, and of course — official merch, which includes limited edition Sakura goodies exclusive to the event.

Let’s get down to it real quick:

The Library — Where It Began

This is the very first zone, designed to replicate the scene where Sakura discovers the mysterious Clow Book in her father’s study. Expect dim lighting, giant and ancient Clow Books — and of course, a magical atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re about to unleash the Clow Cards yourself. It’s moody, cozy, and drenched in nostalgia. A great photo spot too!

Special Theatre

This area showcases exclusive animation and visuals curated specially for the exhibition. It’s a short but immersive viewing experience — like being invited into Kero’s memories. Perfect for both longtime fans who want to relive the feels, and new fans getting their first dose of kawaii touch. Some versions of this special theatre in Japan included commentary by Sakura and Kero-chan, so keep your ears peeled!

No camera allowed in here though, so you need to come and see it for yourself.

The room of THE FLOWER

There’s this beautiful, ethereal Flower Room where you can actually leave a mark – literally – comes after Special Theater.

Visitors stick sakura flower stickers on the wall and suddenly you’re part of the exhibit. (Of course, mine went slightly off-centre but hey, it’s abstract, and I may or may not have brought some home.)

How could I leave this room without taking as much photos as possible.

THE SIEGE – Atelier of Tomoyo

Then there’s Tomoyo’s Atelier—YES, the legendary bestie’s costume display. You get to see Sakura’s outfits up close. I had flashbacks of Tomoyo filming everything dramatically while I just admired the detail in the stitching like some kind of fashion nerd. I think my inner 10-year-old cried a little. Everything was so magical.

The Maze of Drawings : 200+ original illustrations, but no photos allowed

THE MAZE is the magic Sakura whipped up! Once a twisty puzzle for her and the gang, its walls now play host to all their treasured memories.

This room felt sacred. Like, do not breathe too loud sacred. No photos allowed (sad), but wow.

It’s filled with over 200 original drawings by CLAMP and seeing them in person?? I could cry. I took mental photos with my eyes—hope my brain’s iCloud doesn’t run out of storage.

There are two parts to The Maze original drawings exhibition:

Part 1 — Apr 12 (Sat) to May 11 (Sun)

Part 2 — May 12 (Mon) to Jun 11 (Wed)

Be sure to catch both parts—each one features a different set of magical drawings!

Room of THE RECORD

As soon as you walk in, you’re surrounded by a calm, cinematic glow — like you’ve stepped into Sakura’s journal itself. Every panel, every moment carefully frozen in time, displayed with love and detail. Think of it as a visual memory lane.

You could flip every manga and re-read everything if you wish to.

There are original manga sketches hanging like precious art (because let’s be real, they are), and screens playing scenes that somehow still manage to give you goosebumps even if you’ve watched them a hundred times. It’s soft, it’s dreamy, and yes, it will make you want to rewatch the entire series again.

And there is a ball pit. Yes, a ball pit. For adults. Who have adult bills to pay. I regret nothing. I hopped in like a kid at a birthday party. Not gonna lie, I had to climb out slightly less gracefully than intended, but who cares? It was Kero-chan yellow and pure serotonin.

Meet THE BIG Kero-chan

A giant Kero-chan greets you the moment you walk in. I tried to be cool, but five seconds later I was squealing and taking selfies like I’d just met a K-pop idol. He’s fluffy, he’s huge, and I may or may not want one in my living room.

Have you seen my reels?

Room of Cards

This room was designed by the Clow Cards themselves — mysterious, elegant, and just a bit extra (in the best way possible). The room glows with soft lighting, like moonlight filtered through Sakura’s wand. Each card — from The Windy to The Mirror — is displayed.

You don’t just look at the cards — you feel them. There’s this quiet power in the way they’re presented, floating or framed with magical symbols glowing around them. It’s like you’re standing inside Sakura’s sealing circle, mid-capture.

The whole space feels alive, like any moment Kero-chan’s gonna pop out and say, “Yosha!” and hand you a wand.

Don’t skip the Stamp Rally either. Collect all the character stamps throughout the exhibition and get a limited edition clear card. It’s like the gacha moment of the whole experience—but guaranteed reward, so you will go home with a sweet memorabilia!

I caught myself whispering “Return to the guise you were meant to be in…” more than once. Don’t judge — the vibe is that real.

Also, Take my money already

There’s a Japan-imported merchandise shop at the end, filled with magical girl merch galore—keychains, wands, totes, you name it. My e-wallet started sweating and trembling before I even walked in.

If you’re planning to go, my tip is: go early to beat the crowd and have time to soak in every zone. And also to secure your Illustration Book. Dress cute, maybe throw on something pastel or even full-on magical girl if you’re feeling bold. I wore a blue sailor-inspired blouse with lace top, so confirm can’t menang with the giant Kero plush. He really said, I should have tried harder.

And if you see someone squealing with excitement, dropping her stamp card while trying to take a selfie with Kero —it might be me. Come say hi.

JETOUR Dashing: The SUV That Outshone My Shocking Pink OOTD

So I showed up to the launch of the new JETOUR Dashing, dressed head-to-toe in shocking pink. The plan? To steal the spotlight. To blind people with my fabulousness. To shine like a walking highlighter. But guess what? I kalah dengan the car. That Dashing really lives up to its name — sleek, bold, and 100% the main character.

Having Sales Anxiety?

I still remember my first cold call—palms sweaty, heart racing, voice cracking like a teenager in a school play. I had rehearsed my pitch a hundred times, yet the second the prospect picked up, my brain staged a full shutdown.

Peria Restaurant

Peria, dash Box Hotel Cyberjaya

If your taste buds can handle the heat, welcome to Peria!

At Peria, they don’t play when it comes to Negeri Sembilan flavors, which means spice levels are not for the faint-hearted. But don’t worry—if you’re like us and prefer to keep your tongue intact, just ask for a milder version. The chef’s pretty chill about it… well, for some dishes. But for others, you might just have to brace yourself and power through. So yeah, check before ordering unless you’re ready for a mini fire drill in your mouth!
