Small, intimate gathering konon… but volume macam kenduri satu taman. Banyak gelak, and the jokes were so nonsensical I swear the rumah almost lost its bumbung. Imagine a condo losing its roof. Kalau jiran pasang CCTV, mesti ingat ni tengah shooting comedy.
Let me just say—this is not your average demure, sopan-santun girls’ gathering. Kita ni jenis gelak tak ingat dunia, duduk pun tak reti diam. Confirm tak lulus audition jadi gadis ayu.
Tapi yang paling highlight—Rayyan’s cooking. MasyaAllah sedap sampai rasa nak tapau satu periuk balik. Dia hidang laksa yang pekat kaw kaw, ayam masak merah yang juicy gila, and nasi hujan panas yang somehow keluar warna macam nasi strawberry. Tapi don’t be fooled by the pink—still top tier sedap! And I actually suka nasi tu pink-pink like that hahaha.
Ada rendang ayam, nasi impit, kuah lodeh—complete buffet, no notes. And what amazes me was, he started cooking everything that morning itself. Wehhh, pantas eh kat dapur Rayyan ni.
Me being me, tengah pantang nasi… but guess what? I langgar pantang sebab I believe Rayyan’s cooking deserves that kind of commitment. Kalau lepas tu kena allergy pun takpe. Worth it.
Side drama: every time kita datang awal, kuih raya hilang terus tak tinggal kat orang belakang. Especially Razin’s choc chip cookies—dangerously addictive. Next time maybe Rayyan patut jemput kita last round je, so at least tetamu lain sempat rasa satu dua kuih tu.
Also—tak sah kalau tak kacau Sophia the cat. Dia dah level ignore kitorang macam diva Hollywood. Muka dia clearly cakap, “Kenapa these noisy humans still here?” Sorry Sophia, kita tak reti behave. We love you anyway walaupun you treat us macam stranger danger and keep on wishing us to be gone.
Rasa tak puas borak, tak puas gelak, tak puas makan. Already countdown to the next lepak session. Rayyan, consider this gentle pressure to host again soon… and this time, maybe readykan bekas tapau sekali tau Rayyan & Razin 💜💜💜
