King’s Char Kuey Teow

Dah banyak kali Liya repeat makan kat King’s Char Kuey Teow ni, tapi setiap kali datang still rasa excited. Vibe dia memang best – open air, ada live music, kadang-kadang rasa macam tengah lepak tepi pantai sambil makan comfort food. Tapi, memang tepi pantai pun.

My favourite, is yang ni.

Char Kuey Teow dia memang best. Of course every place have their own signature taste. Paling Liya suka yang biasa – penuh dengan udang and kerang, memang puas hati. Liya tak makan sangat pun kerang, but to me, ckt kena ada kerang because it added a depth in the gravy, sedap!

But if you are up for different menu, don’t worry, banyak je pilihan lain – dari grilled lamb, steak, sampai ke nasi goreng & chicken chop pun ada.

Kalau you nak nasi lemak pun ada ni,

Service pun okay je, walaupun kadang ramai gila orang especially weekend. Tapi team dia laju, tak pernah tunggu lama sangat. Parking senang, tempat luas, and family-friendly. Selalu datang dengan anak and husband – anak memang suka ckt sini .

Harga maybe slightly mahal sikit dari kedai biasa, tapi portion besar and rasa dia memang worth it. Plus, tempat ni kira Instagrammable jugak, especially waktu malam dengan lampu-lampu dia. Very nice for us to enjoy our food under the night sky. But what about during rainy days? Ok, kat sini ada ample space berbumbung, so no worries.

Overall? Confirm Liya akan datang lagi. King CKT memang port wajib kalau datang Port Dickson. Kalau korang belum try, silalah pergi. Tapi jangan salah timing, nanti ramai sangat!

Smoky, Saucy, and Oh-So-Satisfying: Welcome to Ayam Bakar Station, Port Dickson!

I could smell the grilled lamb and chicken even before I stepped out of my car—like a delicious smoky welcome mat inviting me in. Coming here on a weekday, especially a Friday in February, means no crazy crowds yet, which is a win for my stomach and my patience.

Tears & Fire – My Dinner at Tomyam Azmee

Tears were shed at Tomyam Azmee. Real tears. And not the “aww, this food is so good” kind—more like “help, my tongue is on fire” kind.Bright Tomyam Azmee sign, inviting you to come.

Okay, I might sound lame, but I think this was my first time ordering Thai-style grilled beef (Daging Bakar). At first bite? Not bad. A little peppery, but totally manageable. But then… oh, then… the spice crept up on me like a ninja. One bite, fine. Two bites, okay. Three bites? My tongue was basically begging for mercy.

Puas hati makan hari ni!

This is beef sundubu jjigae – a hearty Korean stew. I ordered it from Sopoong at Aeon Mall Shah Alam for RM28.13, including delivery, and honestly, it was worth every sen.Beef sundubu jjigae – best enjoyed piping hot.

The bowl was packed to the brim with beef slices, cabbage, tofu, mushrooms, and an egg. It even came with rice, pickles, and not one, but two canisters of kimchi (I requested extra, of course). Talk about value for money – and most importantly – a balanced meal in a bowl! If you dine at their restaurant, the kimchi and salads are bottomless too.
