What’s a good run if it’s not followed by good food and great company? After the Coway Run, we headed to a place we’d never been before—TGSK in Bukit Antarabangsa, on Sisda’s recommendation.

TGSK has such cozy kampung vibes. When we arrived, the queue was already long, with people patiently waiting for tables. My immediate thought? The food must be that good if people are willing to wait this long!

Now, take a look at all this food! I’ve never had ‘Lontong Darat’ before, and just look at that portion, it could easily feed two people! Amir went for Nasi Dagang, and Azfar couldn’t contain his excitement over his Laksam.

Just as we settled in, Sisda arrived with the rest of the gang. The girls were running a bit late because they had to pick up our 5th member, Ju. And there we were, all excited and ready to devour our feast!

TGSK specializes in Kelantanese and Johorian dishes. ‘Lontong Darat’ hails from Johor, while Nasi Dagang and Laksam are Kelantanese delights. And lucky us, we got to enjoy all of them without having to travel to either state! I remember back in the day, when we had to fly in authentic Kelantanese food to KL, often with my friend helping to cater for us. But now? It’s everywhere!

Good food, good friends, and a good run, err, I mean walk!
