There’s something so heartwarming about Raya open houses — and this year, Avisena’s Raya Dulu-Dulu celebration never fails to bring the kampung vibes to life in the most beautiful way.

From the moment I stepped in, I was transported back to the good old days. The photo spots were themed around traditional rumah Melayu lama-lama, complete with wooden walls, vintage furniture, atap nipah, and those classic bottled drinks we used to enjoy during Raya visits. Every corner sparked a memory — it honestly felt like being back in the 80s, just minus the cassette tapes!

The food setup was also so charming! They recreated the feel of a pondok jual kuih like the ones you’d see in kampungs — where kuih were stacked in baskets and glass containers, and everyone gathered to share stories while munching on something sweet.

Of course, the highlight was the spread — a glorious variety of traditional dishes like rendang, pajeri nenas, udang, all paired with colourful nasi hujan panas. We of course made a beeline for the kambing golek and satay — and yes, it was as sedap as it sounds!

But my personal favourite? The tapai pulut served with vanilla ice cream. Childhood memories came rushing in with that first bite — such a simple combo, but so meaningful to me.
Beyond the food and decor, what really warms my heart is how Avisena continuously takes such good care of my clients — not just physically, but with genuine compassion and professionalism. From their specialist services, wellness screenings, to comprehensive outpatient and inpatient care, they’ve truly been a trusted name in healthcare.
Thank you, Avisena, for another unforgettable Raya — and for always putting people first, inside and out.

6 Jilake: Sinematografi Cantik, dan Kisah Pahlawan yang Rare

Me with Saiful Apek yang mendukung watak main antagonist.
Semalam, Liya sempat ke premiere filem 6 Jilake dengan my friends — dan honestly, it was a wild ride. Bayangkan gabungan adventure, dry humor, aksi, dan sedikit misteri and even a dash of spooky, semua dalam satu filem yang berlatarbelakangkan abad ke-18. Kalau korang suka lawak jenis bersahaja, yang tak try hard, this is the kind of movie you’ll appreciate…
