F2P Guide to Last Asylum : Plague – Era of Revival

What is Era of Revival?

Era of Revival in Last Asylum: Plague is a major expansion designed specifically for older servers.

Think of it as the game’s next chapter. Once you’ve completed most of the existing progression, Era of Revival gives you brand-new systems to continue growing your account.

Why was it introduced?

After a server has been around for several months, most active players have already:

🌿 Completed most important research.
🌿 Built powerful hero teams.
🌿 Upgraded almost everything in their Sanctuary.

Without new content, progression eventually slows down and players run out of meaningful goals.

It introduces new permanent progression systems, giving veteran players fresh objectives and new ways to make their account even stronger.

That’s where Era of Revival comes in, and we’re fast approaching it.

Preparation for Era of Revival.

Push Sanctuary as high as possible

We’re aiming to reach Sanctuary Level 30, or get as close as possible, before the Era of Revival finally arrives.

Every Sanctuary level gives you:

  • higher hero level cap
  • stronger troop tiers
  • better building bonuses
  • access to more late-game content

Research Sequence Guide

And here’s a guide on which research you should prioritize in the Research Lab as an F2P.

Why do we focus on Squad 1, Soldier, and Elite Troops?

Because these give you the biggest boost early on.

Squad, Soldier, and Elite Troop research are relatively quick to complete, and upgrading your Sanctuary unlocks higher troop tiers without needing to spend.

On the other hand, as F2P, Hero research doesn’t give you as much value early in the game. If you’re stuck with weaker heroes, all that extra Hero research won’t make a huge difference.

Stockpile everything

Don’t waste:

  • Construction Speedups
  • Research Speedups
  • Antitoxins
  • Hero Medals
  • Recruit Tickets
  • Raven Fruits
  • Diamonds
  • Resources

Most new systems require huge amounts of materials.

Never enter a major expansion with empty inventory.

Day One of Era of Revival

We now have 2 new buildings.

The Lord Statue

Our Plague Doctor has finally been promoted. He’s now a Lord and even has his own statue.

The Lord Statue is the main hub of the Era of Revival. This is where you’ll increase your Resistance (RES) to unlock higher-level content, upgrade your Specialty Skills (you’ll have to choose between Handyman and Legion Commander), and claim your seasonal rewards. It’s one of the most important progression systems introduced in the Era of Revival.

When to choose Handyman
Choose Handyman during peaceful periods or as soon as the Era of Revival begins. The building and research speed boosts will help you grow your sanctuary much faster.

When to choose Legion Commander
Switch to Legion Commander before major Kingdom Wars, alliance rallies, or when you’re hunting high-level Elite Blights. The extra combat buffs and Might will make a noticeable difference in battle.

Specialty

What Is Specialty For

Your chosen Specialty determines the type of seasonal rewards you’ll receive. Choose wisely between Handyman and Legion Commander.

Specialty Skills

Specialty Skill is where you learn powerful new skills, like getting extra free research time or increasing your daily free stamina by 50%.

The skills you can learn depend on whether you’ve chosen the Handyman or Legion Commander Specialty.

Soldier’s Rest

I’d rather call it a zombie hospital. Or, if you’re as old as I am… a RoboCop hospital. 😂

Because at Soldier’s Rest, not all your fallen soldiers get to rest in peace. Some of them will be resurrected and brought back from the dead to serve your Sanctuary once again.

Of course, there are limits. You can’t keep reviving soldiers non-stop because there’s a very long cooldown before you can resurrect more.

Soldier’s Rest has:

  1. A limit on how many fallen soldiers can be converted into recovered soldiers.
  2. A limit on how many fallen soldiers it can receive.
  3. Resurrecting soldiers costs resources.
  4. Upgrading the Soldier’s Rest increases the conversion rate of fallen soldiers into recovered soldiers, raises the number of soldiers it can receive, and reduces the resurrection cooldown.
